Sywawa has secured a ticket to take part in the Il Salone del Mobile exhibition in Milan from 4 to 9 April. Because this privilege is only granted to the very best in the world, this is already a tremendous achievement. “But that’s no reason for us to be complacent,” says managing director Pierre Christiaens. “For us, Milan is the ideal showcase to really break through in the international arena.”

For decades, the international furniture exhibition in Milan has been the high mass for tens of thousands of professionals from the design world. This is the place where design experts from the four corners of the earth come together to learn more about the latest new design trends. For many years, there has been a long-waiting list to gain access to this design Valhalla, where everyone wants to see and be seen. But only the very best companies are given an entrance ticket. This honour has now been accorded to Sywawa from Bruges. Why? The fact that the company, with its extensive and unique collection of 16 design parasols, has already won almost 20 international design awards will probably have something to do with it.
